Quinoa Millet Tangerine Jook

Makes 3 – 4 Servings

Preparation:

3 cups water
1/2 cup millet
1/2  cup quinoa
2 Tblsp raisins
2 Tblsp walnuts:  broken
1 dry tangerine peel : Chen Pi (citrus reticulata)

Mix above:  cook on low in crockpot overnight or bring water to a boil, add dry ingredients and simmer covered for 20 – 30 minutes

Energetics:

Supports Kidneys, Liver, Spleen and Stomach, Pericardium and Lung.  Yin, blood and qi tonic, removes dampness, phlegm and toxins.  Invigorates the qi of the Spleen and regulates body fluids.  Benefits reproductive organs.
