Roasted Creamed Golden Turnips

Bake:  350 degrees for 1 hour

Preparation:

1 pound golden turnips:  peel and cut into 1 inch pieces.

Bone broth, butter, nutmeg

Use baking dish large enough (9 x 13) to hold all pieces.  Add 1 inch of water to bottom of pan. Place in center of pre-heated oven (350 degrees) and bake for 1 hour until turnips are very soft. Transfer pieces to flat-bottomed bowl and mash, adding bone broth, water, or cream, then olive oil or butter.   Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.

Serve immediately.
