Autumn

Just as nature slows down, it is time for us to let go of our hectic activities of summer and take more rest to allow our immune system to function properly.  It is time to eliminate that which no longer serves our deepening (yin) energy needs.  Foods of autumn will support our respiratory and immune systems and aid the large intestines and lungs, allowing them to function smoothly with warming, pungent foods such as radishes.
