9″ dish
350 degrees for 30-35 minutes
Preparation:
Soak:
1/2 cup of Wolfberries for 10 minutes in water and drain
Mix dry ingredients:2 cups barley flour |
In large bowl: place wet ingredients:3 eggs: beat them |
Frosting: apple sauce mixed with rose water (1/2 cup rose water to 32 oz jar of sauce)
Butter or oil 9“ cake pan
Mix dry ingredients into wet: Mix in date pieces and drained wolfberries. Pour batter into pan filling 1/2 way. Pop in the oven for 30 minutes. Cool a bit and serve with apple sauce which has rose water mixed into it.
